   Do you also sell computers?  

        NO. Since we want ADA to be independent from any Hardware Supplier and concentrate only in what we do best, the Software development.
        We can however study and evaluate  your needs for free and recommend from selected Hardware  Suppliers. Our commission is given to you
       as an extra discount, thus you save money from hardware, from 10 – 20 %. However you can buy your computers from wherever you wish.

Have you developed an ERP Software?

      We have developed the 1st ERP Software in Cyprus running under Microsoft-SQL.
      The Basic modules are Accounting, Stock Control, Payroll and Fixed Assets.

 Do you offer MRP (Manufacturing Requirements Planning) and Production Control?
 
      MRP and Production Control are very complicated Systems. Our experience has shown that every different area of Manufacturing needs its own
     Custom Made Application. Therefore we prefer to develop the Software according to our Clients needs and not offer it  as a standard Package.
     They are fully interfaced with ADA's standard modules.
 
Do you have Packages for  Vertical Market Applications?

      We have developed and ready to deliver the following applications :-

   Do we have to buy all Software modules?   
 
        NO. Only for STOCK CONTROL the Accounting is a must since there is automatic Interface. The others can be bought alone.

   Can we buy Accounting only and then add other modules?

         YES. You can add other modules at any time later.

   Are all the modules intergraded? 

        YES.  all modules are automatically intergraded.

   Can you develop customized applications (tailored made) for special needs?

       YES. We can develop any Business application you need, to cover your specific company needs. Our Software Analysts and Consultants
       will study in depth your needs, prepare the design and after is agreed with you to proceed with the development  of the Software.
 
    Can you adjust ADA Software to cover some special needs we may have,  e.g. change the Layout of the Invoices, need extra Statistics etc?

Is the Software developed and running in a true Windows environment? 

     YES.

In which computer language the Software is developed? 

     VISUAL BASIC and CRYSTAL REPORTS using the latest Art of Programming.

In which year the Windows Software was first released?   

    In 2001. We were among the 1st Cypriot Software Houses that moved into Windows Technology.

In which technology ADA Software is based?

    ADA Software is using ERP technology that only the most expensive imported packages use and is based on Client/Server Technology.
    After all we have developed our own ERP.

Is ADA Software developed by your company in Cyprus or is it imported?

    ADA Software is developed entirely by us in Cyprus based on Cyprus reality and facts.

Which Database you are using?

     Microsoft Access for up to 15 users without the need of paying Licenses and Microsoft SQL for more than 15 users for better speed.
     (you need to buy legal MS-SQL Licenses)
 

Can we develop our own Reports ?

     Only if you can come into special agreement with ADA and at your own risk, since this may change / mess up / destroy the databases if you are not well aware of the use of Crystal Reports. To do so you must also buy and know how to use Crystal Reports very well !.  Also if you do so you many not be able to get any new updates of the Software from ADA.    
                                              
Can we have remote terminals (users) connected to our main Server. for e.g. Multi-branch System in various locations in same town or in other towns?

      Of course you can do that, using the facility of Terminal Services connection.

Can we have many users? 

     YES as many as you like depending on the license you buy from ADA or you can buy one user and add later more users at a very low cost.
     For Accountants and Auditors is offered  with unlimited  number of Users.
 
Is ADA Software Batch or On-line Real Time?

    ADA Software is on-line Real time. Batch is an old technology.

Is ADA Software Multi-Company? 

    YES you can have any number of companies depending on the Purchase agreement at a very low cost for the extra companies. For Accountants
     and Auditors is offered  with unlimited number of companies.
 
Can we open a new Company Alone? 

     YES and is very easy.

Can we copy data from one company to another? 

     YES. You can copy the whole chart of Accounts and include or exclude the Clients and Suppliers Accounts, the transactions types etc.

 Can we do the End of Year alone, or I have to call you? 

     You can do it alone very easily, but you can always call ADA for assistance.

 Is ADA Software Multi-Currency?

    YES. You can keep your Accounts in any currency you like. You can post your  transactions at any currency and automatically converted to your
     company currency using predefined exchange rates or at rates you enter during the transaction.
 
Can we keep Accounts in more than one Currency?

     YES. You can keep your accounts in dual currency.

How many Stores we can have?

      Unlimited number of Stores, without extra charge.

 

F) PARAMETRIC  –  EASY TO LEARN and USE

Is ADA Software Parametric?

     YES. ADA Software is fully parametric and we will set it up for your Company for free. For e.g. Accounting comes with a standard
     Chart of Accounts in Greek and English, which you can use or adjust to your needs.
     You may even build transactions templates, with our assistance so to make Automatic entries, like recurring transactions, etc.
     So even the novice users can use ADA Software very easily.

 Is ADA Software easy to use and learn?

    YES. It is very easy , that even people without any knowledge of computers can learn easily to use it.

Is  ADA Software User Friendly?

     Windows are user friendly, so is ADA Software since we use Microsoft tools for the development of the Software. It is user friendly, is using
     meaningful icons, drop down menus, windows navigator, toolbars with the daily used functions etc.
 
Do we have to remember Account Codes, Item Codes, Employees codes etc?
 
     NO. You do not need to remember anything. You can access al information (Accounts,  Item Codes, Employees, Transaction types, Control Accounts,
     Groups) etc by fraction of  the name. So simply forget remembering any codes.

Can we use Bar Codes? 

      Of course, for any item that has a bar code you can scan it and save time.

Can we insert and include pictures in ADA Software?

     YES. You can include the pictures of the Stock Items and even print your prices catalogue list with pictures, enter your Employees pictures,
     your documents etc.
 
Can we interface ADA Software with Hand held devices?

      YES. You can do so. For e.g. for taking Customers Orders, for Stock Taking etc.

Can we interface ADA Software with Point of Sales (POS) Systems?

      YES. You can easily do so.

Does ADA Software offer Touch-Screen Facilities?

      YES. However the Computers you are using are more expensive.

Can we transfer automatically the Opening Balances to the next year?

     Yes. At any time and as many times you like. Juts press a key and the Balances will be automatically transferred overriding the previous opening balances.  Also Profit & Loss is automatically transferred to next year.

Do we need to enter Opening Balances before start processing Transactions?

    No. You can enter Opening Balances any time you wish.

Do we have any restrictions on the Transactions number, or lines per transactions or Accounts, or Items, or Employees, or Assets etc?

     No. There are no restrictions at all. Only your Hard Disk capacity is the limit.

Can we modify the transactions of Accounting, Stock Control, Payroll  etc?

     YES. Provided that your password allows you to do so and the Year and Month are open.
      The modification facility is very useful and is so easy to use like editing an Excel document. However if you have submitted
      the VAT Statement for the period, you should never modify any Accounting transactions unless they do not affect VAT. You should use
      the facility to Inactivate the VAT months, so to prevent any postings or modifications by mistake.

What happens if we say modify a Stock Invoice? Is Accounting automatically updated?

     YES. Since all ADA modules are integrated, when you modify a Stock Invoice, or just  generate an Invoice from Stock, the Accounting is
      automatically updated. Forget about the old methods of Interfaces. Mistakes by the users can still happen, but with ADA  Accounting are
      easily corrected. 

Can we post transactions at various years without having to close the previous years?

     YES. You can post transactions for many years, without closing the previous year.
     Of course, this this before your Auditors prepare your final accounts for Tax Authorities.

Can we post-dated and backdated Transactions?

      YES. Provided your months are open.

Can we have direct links to Microsoft Office, without having to exit from ADA Software?

     YES. With all Microsoft Office tools, you have direct link, ie. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook,
     provided you have purchase these programs.
      
 How many Windows we can open at the same time?

       As many as you like, depending of course on the memory of your PC.

 Can we automatically print VAT Statement and Analysis?

     You can print the VAT form exactly as is required by VAT Authorities, including the Acquisition Accounts for EU. You can also print analysis
     of Sales and Purchase Invoices and exception Reports so to be able to have all the supporting documents to VAT form.
     When VAT decides to accept the forms via email , the form is ready to be sent via email. Also VIES form is automatically prepared. 
 
 
G) MANAGEMENT INFORMATION  &  STATISTICS

Is ADA Software provide adequate Management Information and Statistics?     

   YES. Management Information is highly important for a company to earn more Money and cut down expenses and losses. It is a very important tool
   for the Management decision making. 
 
Is ADA Software producing Financial Statements?

   YES. All Financial Statements are produced. Like Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss etc,

Is ADA Software offering Sales and Purchases Statistics?

    YES. You can print Sales and Purchase Statistics by Customer, Supplier, Period, Item or Service. You can even have Profit and Loss per Item and
    Customer.  A vast number of Statistics is offered with margins etc.

 Can we print Graphics?

       Most reports can be seen and printed in Colorful graphics in Pie, Bar, Line Chart etc.

 Can we have comparisons with previous years?

     YES. You can immediately compare current and previous year figures and also as many other years if you export your data to Excel.
 
Can we have Budgets and Forecasting?

       YES, with comparison of Actual Figures in printed, visual or Graphics.

Can we export all Statistics and Financial Reports to EXCEL and WORD? 

     YES and to many more like ADOBE, TEXT FILE, LOTUS, HTML , ODBC, ASCII, e-mail  etc, with this facility you can make additional Statistics
     using Excel, presentations etc.

 

H) DATA PROTECTION  &  CONFIDENTIALITY

Is ADA Software Password protected?

   YES. We have applied a very sophisticated method that every user has is own password and with every password certain rights are  assigned
   for every function of the Software. The password is encrypted. For e.g. one user may be allowed to print Management Reports and someone
   else can not. One user can modify data entries and the others not. You may even restrict access to certain Accounts and Groups.
 
Is our Data Secured from ADA employees?
 
     All information supplied to us is considered highly confidential. We operate like Doctors and can not reveal you company information to no one.
     We can give You this in writing. After all we have to abide also to the “Personal Data” law.
 
 
 
I) PRINTING  &  EXPORTING OF YOUR DATA

Do we need to print the reports? 

     NO. You can see all reports on the screen and then if you wish you can print them on various printers. Of course you can have your default printer
     selected.
 
Can we export all Reports to EXCEL, WORD, PDF, TEXT etc? 

     YES and to many more like ADOBE, TEXT FILE, LOTUS, HTML , ASCII, ODBC etc

Can we sent all Reports via Email?

     YES. All reports can be sent via email.
      Very useful so you can sent via email the Statements of Accounts to your Customers, the Reports to your Auditors etc.

 Do we need to buy  pre-printed Stationery e.g for our Invoices?

     NO. You can print on plain A4 paper with your company logo, thus saving a lot of money on pre-printed Invoices and other stationery
     for statements etc. Of course if you need cheques for Payroll and Accounts payable then you must print them.
 

 Can we also print in Landscape?  

     YES.

 Can we print in Colour?  

     YES. You can print in colour, like your Invoices, Receipts, Statements, Graphics etc actually you can adjust your printer using the standard
     Windows facilities.
 
Can we zoom (change) the size of the letters?  

     YES. For every Report or for all Reports when you are locking into the program.

 

J) INTEGRATION of ADA MODULES & INTERFACE with OTHER Software Packages

Are all the modules intergraded? 

    YES. All modules are automatically intergraded.

Do we need to do the Interfaces from Stock to Accounting or from Payroll to Accounting etc?

      NO. All modules are automatically interfaced. For e.g. when you issue an Invoice from Stock, your Accounting is automatically updated
      at the same time.
 
Can we interface ADA Software Modules with our existing Software?
 
    YES. At at a very small cost we can Interface ADA Software with your existing Software  e.g. Stock Control, Accounting, Payroll etc.

Can you transfer our Existing Software Data e.g. Accounting Data, Stock, Payroll etc into ADA Software or we have to re-enter them?

    YES. This is one of the most important facilities of ADA. We can Transfer your Data from any other Software you are using, so to save You
    a lot of precious time in re-entering  them and start using ADA Software immediately. We do that if you wish at a very small cost.

Can we have remote computers, (i.e. in other locations, towns or abroad)?

     YES. For more details you must speak to our Programmers. We have even Clients in Siberia, Russia that use remote Access to Cyprus.

 

K) WHY CHANGING FROM DOS to WINDOWS SOFTWARE

What are the advantages of changing my DOS Software into Windows Software?  (Is very strange but still there are companies using DOS....)

 
 
L) LANGUAGES  &  STANDARDS

In which languages you offer ADA Software? 

    ADA Software is offered in English and Greek. This includes Menus, Reports and Data. Also ADA Accounting is offered in Russian.

 What Accounting Standards ADA Software is using?

    The English Standards which we use in Cyprus.

 Is ADA Software European Union standards compliant?

    Of course. ADA Software is fully compliant with European Union Regulations.  E.g. the VAT form with special columns for EU.
 
 Can you handle years before 2008 when EUR was introduced, with CYP  as the Currency ?
 
    YES. On 1st of January 2008 all opening balances were automatically converted from CYP in EUR, using the official rate. Before
     year 2008 all years remained in CYP and can be handled with CYP.

Why we should prefer locally made Software and not an imported Package?

 How ADA prices compare to Other Suppliers?

       Perhaps we offer the best Software for money. Do remember that we also offer Free Installation and Unlimited Training.
     
Indicate some prices of ADA Software.
 
    Prices start from as low as 1399 EUR plus VAT for ADA-FACTS, Small Business Accounting.
    For ADA-RETAIL & POS (Small Business Accounting and Stock Control) the prices start  from 1000 EUR plus VAT.
    For Single User ERP Accounting and Stock prices are between 3500 - 4500 EUR plus VAT.  
 
Do i need to buy any other licenses?
 
     If the Software is running under Access Database no. (Maximum 15 users).
     If the Software is running under MS-SQL Database then you must buy Microsoft Licenses  for the  SQL-Server and the Users.
     Since ADA is a Microsoft Empower ISV Partner we can provide these licenses to your company at dealer prices.

 Is VAT Included in your prices? 

    NO. VAT is extra. You can claim it back of course if you are entitled.

 

N) HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS

 What Computer do we need?

        Memory :- Minimum 512 MB. Preferable 1 GB.
        Hard Disk :-  Minimum 50 GB. Of course that depends on your company size.
        CD ROM or DVD ROM.              
        Operating System for Users :-   Any version of Microsoft Windows for PCs
        Operating System for Server :- Any version of Microsoft O/S for Servers

  How much space ADA Programs need? 

        From 10 Mb to 30 Mb maximum depending on Modules installed.

 What Backup do we need? 

        You can backup on CD, DVD, ZIP Drive, Tape, Memory Stick, Hard Disk.
        We will give you our advise about the best Backup method for your company.
  
What Printers do we need?

       Any kind of Printer like Inkjet, DeskJet, Laser, even Dot Matrix for pre-printed documents with perforations.

Can we have remote computers, WAN (i.e. in other locations, towns or abroad)?

     YES. Using the facility of Terminal Services.

Can you offer us Computer Consultancy and Help us change or buy new Computers?

      YES. This is offered FREE of Charge since we do business with most reputable Hardware Suppliers. You can even get better prices since
      we do not get any Commissions from the Hardware Suppliers so you get that as a discount for You.
 
How many years we can keep On-Line?
 
      There is no limit. With the large hard disks of the new generation of Computers, there is no limit.

 

O) DELIVERY –  INSTALLATION – TRAINING

Does ADA charge for the Installation of Software? 

      NO. We do it for FREE.

How soon ADA can install the Software to our Company?

      We can install the Software after 1 week from date of order.
      However if some modules need customization this may take more time depending on Client’s needs.

Is ADA Software having user manuals?  

   YES. All manuals are online for every function of the Software. You can also Print them if you wish. But you can always call us to give you
   the answer and save precious time.

Do you have an on-line test to help us learn ADA Software?

      YES. We offer an on-line test , a multiple choice exam, say, that only the most expensive Software have. It can even assist you to find more
      about what ADA Software is doing. From our experience the users do not use more than 60 % of the Software facilities. At the end of the test,
      you will be given your score and the correct answers to every question.

 Do we have to pay for Training?  

      We offer Unlimited Free Training for your employees. However for the Small Business
      you get only 8-15 hours free training. This saves you a lot of money and time.

 Where you do the Training?   

       At your Offices at mutually agreed hours, or if you prefer you can come to ADA office.
       Training is done gradually i.e. step by step and not all at one visit depending how easily the users can learn. We may visit your office
        as many times as needed.
      
       When more new facilities are added we invite our Clients to visit our offices in small  groups and train them on the new facilities, using our
       Training room.
 
How many hours of Training I need?
 
       Not more than 10 hours for Accounting, 15 hours for Stock, 6 hours  for the Payroll etc. However since we offer unlimited free training you have
      nothing to worry about.

Do you assist us in the Implementation of ADA Software?

       YES. It is part of the training. Our vast experience with Business Applications can
       help you a lot. We can even set up the Chart of Accounts , do the Stock Items
       Classification. define VAT Codes etc.

Do we need to employee Computer Experts to Implement ADA Software?

       NO. You do not need, unlike other Software programs that costs a lot of money on Implementation and Computer Experts salaries.
 
 
 
P) LICENSING  –  GUARANTEE  –  MAINTENANCE & SUPPORT

Is the Software I buy mine?

     You only buy the License of using the ADA Software. The license depends upon  the number of Modules , the number of Users and the number
     of companies. The Software belongs to ADA and only ADA has the right to amend and update  the Software. ADA has the right to terminate
     support if the Client refuses to pay for the Annual Maintenance fee.

Can I sell ADA Software to another company?

     NO. This is strictly prohibited by the law. If however you sell your company, then you must come in contact with ADA so to transfer
     the license to the new company under certain conditions.
 
Can I make copies of the Software?
 
      YES. For Backup purposes only. However if you loose the Software then ADA will reinstall it for you free of charge.

Is the License having expiring date?

    YES. The license of using the Software must be renewed every year, based on ADA Maintenance Agreement terms.
   

Do you give us any guarantee? 

     YES  From three to six Months.

How can we ask for support?

      You may call ADA office and ask our secretary to connect you immediately with our Support team or our employee you wish to talk to.
      You may sent us a fax or an e-mail.
      You do not have to go through complicated procedures to ask for assistance.
      Even our Managing Director is always at your disposal at any time.

 How is Support offered?

       Through telephone HOT LINE Service, at the same time you call.
       Through email with the correction of the problem or the extra needs you may have.
       Through Terminal Service with direct and safe connection to your Computer.
       Through Team Viewer Direct Connection to your office computer for immediate support.
       Visiting your office to offer support, assistance and Training.
 
How fast is ADA service?
 
      For emergencies immediately. For other services usually within 24 hours.
      For new developments and requirements depends on the Client needs and is agreed with the Client.

Is ADA’s Managing Director easily reachable?

     ADA’s Managing Director is always at your disposal and very easy to reach to discuss your problem and assist you in any way he can.

How much you pay for the Renewal of Software License and the Annual Maintenance Agreement? 

     Usually between 15 - 20 % on Retail Price. There is  no extra charge at every visit or any other kind of support.

Why do i need Maintenance and what Maintenance Covers?   

 
How often you issue new releases?
 
      Since our Software applies to any kind of business, our Clients may frequent recommendations in order to add new facilities to our Software.
     Therefore at least  twice per year we update our Software and add many new features.

Are new releases Free? 

     YES. Is part of the Maintenance Agreement.

Do we have to pay for every visit to my office or for telephone support? 
 
     NO.   You are fully covered by Maintenance.

What are the Usual Terms of Payment?   

      We usually charge :-

                31 % one month after Delivery

     Of course you can come to a different agreement with our Managing Director.

Can we pay with Credit Card?

      No.
